I have used Alex in the past, when I had an older car that needed a lot of work. Alex is very honest and is very reasonable. He will always give you options according to your budget to save you money. He has a very busy shop, so it may time a little more time to get your car back, but it's worth it.

I had a bad oxygen sensor that needs to be replaced on my Toyota RAV4. Dealor wants $450 for the job. Alex auto repair got the job done for $25! I bought the part from auto store which cost $188. No wonder this shop has been here forever and always busy. They are truly hard working people with very moderate demeanor in the business of helping people~!!

I just moved to chicago for work, my first day coming home from my job my piece of crap car won't steer. I ended up getting home, thank god their is no sharp turns on 94. I walked in the pouring rain to the nearest auto shop, which turns out to be Alex As, the guy in the office tells me to bring it by tommorow morning, I drop it off at 7:30 am the next day noone is there (kind of sucks noone comes in until 8 am) so I wait at the cafe for about 20 mins, a couple mechanics come in, none I believe speak english thoroughly well. I give my keys to a younger hispanic kid who kind of looks at me like I'm insane, I tell him the problem, write my info down and leave. I take a cab the next day to and from work, I stop by Alex imagining they proabaly just looked at it, but I get their and it was just a tension belt. He got it done quickly on such short notice and charge a reasonable price.
